Of course, I might add, that right after the relating of his eyewitness experience he states that the word of God is a more certain truth and to be trusted more than one’s experience, which should give many modern feel-good Christians pause. m.

There's this. Well, it sure beats post mortems on this cluster puck. In this post on solid scrub bars, Julia asks: I love this scrub bar, but so far I have always made it without sodium lacate. So I want to add the sodium lactate. So if use this in my anhydrous scrub bar, will it even mix since it is part water? And then it raises the question if I should use an additional preservative due to the water. I haven't been able to find any 'pure' sodium lacate, they all seem to be mixed with water. What are your thoughts?Sodium lactate really is a big part of the hardening of this bar. You can find sodium lactate crystals - find them at Lotioncrafter, for example - but how would you dissolve it? It's water soluble, so you'll have to use a bit of water anyway.

Back in college, I was a mopey/impassioned art student, and on nights when I would get caught up in a creative frenzy, I would often end up sleeping in the painting studio if it seemed too late to ride my bike home. For breakfast, I kept instant oatmeal packets on hand, and would prepare them with hot water from the tap. The oatmeal was invariably thick and pasty, but I'd eat it anyway.

As a result, I have sort of mixed memories about instant oatmeal: a little bit of nostalgia, mixed with a dose of reality.

I wasn't sure what to expect. but this product really impressed me! In fact, after one bite, I actually exclaimed: "Wow!" Gone was the gluey paste of my college days. The Alaska Seafood Cooperative, representing Bering Sea flatfish trawlers, submitted the following response to yesterday's post: Observers report taking abuse over halibut. This latter section was highlighted yesterday in a post on Deckboss. In addition to discussing these issues, dialogue with Martin Loefflad and Chris Rilling from FMA brought to light some conflicts between observer protocols and the needs of captains for timely information concerning halibut bycatch to effectively avoid halibut. During the meeting, an acceptable solution was reached, and observers now provide raw data to captains. This information is now available in a much more timely manner. As many may know, AKSC and its members have been collaborating with NMFS on a program to release halibut as soon as possible from a vessel's deck to improve survival. He falls into a trap, goes unconscious and wakes up tied to a stake with a fire burning slowly underneath him. He cries out for help, and is answered by what is obviously one of the tribesmen, who informs him that he is going to be served as dinner to the leader of the tribe. "But you don''t understand!" he cries, "You can''t do this to me! I''m an editor for the New Yorker magazine!" "Ah," replies the tribesman, "Well look on the bright side. Soon you will be editor-in-chief!"CARTOONS. Father and Son pretend to take a trip to Sweden. Even after having eight baby's, she taught me so much about delivery.

Her words and thoughts really encouraged me that going natural again, and this time with a midwife will be the right choice for the delivery of our new baby due in Spring. Most water supplies are alkaline and can reduce the life of cut flowers, so the acidifier makes the pH of the water closer to the more acid pH of the plant’s sap. It also acts to stabilise the pigment and the colour of the flowers. Many gardeners/florists swear by various ways to keep flowers fresher for longer.

But aspirin, wine or copper coins added to the water are apparently ineffective.

Blistering Burnt Mutilage Sorry to the die hard punks that follow this blog. But I'm on a heavy death, grind kick lately.

I'll post some hardcore punk soon.

God loves you right where you are but he doesn’t want to leave you there. I love stripes. Not so much for wearing. I'm more of a solids with the occasional prints kind of person. But I like piecing with stripes. They're so directional and you can manipulate that and that's fun. Also, they're probably the simplest pattern to create with wax. Just draw lines and add dye. Perfect. I've spent the weekend mostly involved with other folks lives and projects, not my own. It was a nice change of pace to focus on other things. Not because CAF has been a bad place to focus, but just because you gain a little more reflection away from your own messy world. And trust me, Cold Antler is messy. The rains brought mud, the frosts brought dead grass, and what is left around here to munch isn't much. Not a bad thing but I need to get more later today. That's a lofty goal for a short bed pickup in one trip, so I might not hit that, but yeesh, ten bales is even enough to help the barn look less empty. Despite the government shutdown, a large group of lawmakers made it a priority to meet with the group and discuss the issue. D. Hello folks!!!!! It's really crazy here!!!! stuff everywhere!!!! Do any of you Armstrong-Ringsted graduates remember the super yummy peanut bars they used to serve for lunch? They were the BEST. What was great, as a teacher's kid, was when they had some leftover and would stick them in the teacher's lounge and all of us teacher's kids would sneak some after school. Good times. I got a cookbook from my Grandma Beadle for a shower gift and a couple of years ago I tried out a recipe for Peanut Butter Bars and it took me back to my school days. Aren't church cookbooks the best? This is from the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Swea City. Since it was chilly and fall-like today, I made a batch of chili and these bars for supper. while mourners heap flowers and light candles. Lots of rain and wind today. Predicted to continue all day.

I did some surfing yesterday and found lots of MySpace pages of interest. I know, YouTube vids, like you don't see them everywhere. I found myself stumbling through the streets of Pittsburgh, PA recently and had asurprisingly good time. I say "surprisingly" because PBurgh isn't the sort of place one might normally choose as a holiday destination.

I was asked by the fine folks who run Toonseum – a cartoon art museum inside the Children's Museum – to emcee a thing called Dr.

Sketchy's Anti-Art School. What happens is that burlesque-style performers and models do a song or dance for a few minutes, then freeze in poses for various lengths of time while audience members draw them. As MC, I vamped and entertained in between poses and drew funny funny cartoons on a big pad of paper. As if that weren't enough fun, there were also prizes, beer, pie, and shenanigans of all sorts. The theme was Piraro, Pie, Pirates, Pi and Pittsburgh. What more do you need for a theme? Here's your MC for the evening, dressed in somesemi-piratey gear. The European Council has explicitly supported the Connecting Europe Facility, including for digital technologies and infrastructure. National leaders thus support measures to boost growth and build a digital single market, which is impossible without a fast broadband infrastructure and high-quality online services. This announcement is a very positive signal that needs to be translated into concrete action to unlock this essential investment Full conclusions of the European Council. Today I will be addressing the living members of the ancient bloodline families. Those ones who are sometimes called by other names such as, the Illuminati, The Powers That Be, The Ruling Elite, The Cabal and a few other, less charitable, terms that I shan’t mention. To be clear: I am not now addressing the rich and powerful who regularly appear in the press. And, when required, they always bow to the far greater power wielded by the ones I now speak of. .
